Michelin Pilot Sport 5
**Michelin Pilot Sport 5 Tyre**
The Michelin Pilot Sport 5 is a premium ultra-high-performance summer tyre engineered for drivers who want precise handling, strong braking and long-lasting grip from a road-focused sports tyre. It replaces the Pilot Sport 4 in Michelin's range and is fitted as original equipment on a range of high-performance sports cars, luxury sedans and premium saloons from manufacturers including BMW, Audi, Mercedes-Benz and Porsche.
Dual Sport Tread Design gives the Pilot Sport 5 two distinct tread zones. The inner side uses large longitudinal grooves to channel water away for confident wet-road traction, while the outer side uses rigid tread blocks to maximise grip and stability on dry roads. This means strong braking performance in both wet and dry conditions without compromise.
Dynamic Response Technology uses a hybrid aramid and nylon belt to improve the transmission of steering input to the road, giving sharper, more precise steering feel and better reactivity through corners.
MaxTouch 2.0 technology evenly distributes acceleration, braking and cornering forces across the tyre's contact patch, helping to extend tread life without sacrificing performance, so the tyre continues to perform consistently as it wears.
The Premium Touch sidewall features a sleek, matte-black, velvet-like finish that complements the look of premium vehicles, and all sizes include a deep rim protector to help guard alloy wheels from kerb damage. A Wear2Check indicator makes it easy to monitor tread wear over the life of the tyre.
Suitable for spirited road driving and occasional track use, the Michelin Pilot Sport 5 is built for drivers who want performance that holds up over the long term.
