  • A speed rating less than or equal to Q
  • A tread depth greater than or equal to 11 mm
  • A notch ratio (ratio of grooves to solid areas) of 35% or more.

This definition applies to C1 class tyres (cars/SUVs) and C2 class tyres (vans).
