Parts Advisor – AutoFastFit, Letterkenny
AutoFastFit is looking for an experienced Parts Advisor to join our team in Letterkenny. This is a hands-on role for someone who knows their way around automotive parts, enjoys working with customers and trade accounts, and takes pride in getting the right part to the right job, first time.
About the Role
As Parts Advisor, you'll be the first point of contact for customers and trade accounts looking for parts, advice, and pricing. You'll work closely with our workshop and sales teams to keep jobs moving and customers happy.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle counter, phone, and online parts enquiries from retail and trade customers
- Identify correct parts using registration, VIN, or part number lookups
- Process orders, quotes, and invoices accurately
- Advise customers on compatibility, alternatives, and pricing
- Liaise with suppliers to source parts and manage backorders
- Maintain accurate stock records and assist with stock checks
- Support the workshop team with parts availability and lead times
- Build and maintain relationships with trade account customers
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a parts advisor, motor factor, or similar automotive parts role
- Strong working knowledge of automotive parts, fitment, and cross-referencing
- Confident using parts lookup systems and stock management software
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work accurately under pressure in a busy environment
- Full clean driving licence preferred
- Knowledge of the Irish automotive aftermarket an advantage
